Tanya Ott is a journalist, editor, producer and coach, in both audio and print. She teaches audio storytelling, data journalism, media entrepreneurship and more at Mercer University’s Center for Collaborative Journalism in Macon, GA.

As the host of Deloitte Insights’ signature podcast, she interviews thought leaders and change makers about business strategy, emerging technologies, innovation and social impact. She also hosts the spin-off Insights in Depth, which examines the intersection of technology and humanity.

Tanya served as writer, audio engineer, and sound designer for the award-winning Following Harriet podcast and the Alabama Civil Rights Trail podcast. She wrote the Mississippi Freedom Trail podcast and was senior producer of Allrecipes Homemade podcast.

Her stories have aired on NPR, American Public Media, and elsewhere. She also served as reporter, editor, host and news manager at public radio stations in Florida, Colorado, Alabama and Georgia.
